His academic journey boasts noteworthy achievements, graduating with distinction as the top scorer from the esteemed University of Bath, UK, and being amongst the pioneering Muslim scholars to embark on an MSc journey in Philosophy, Science, and Religion at the revered University of Edinburgh, UK. This journey culminated in dual doctoral accomplishments, encompassing a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the distinguished University of Nottingham, UK, and a second PhD in Theology from St Mary's University, UK. In recognition of his commitment to education, Shoaib has been honored as a Senior Fellow of AdvanceHE (formerly the Higher Education Academy) and as a Fellow of the International Society for Science and Religion (ISSR).
